Collegiate Music Competition
This competition is open to continuing college students - instrumentalists and vocalists - who either graduated from a Milwaukee area high school or currently attend a Milwaukee area college.

After reviewing the submitted CDs/tapes, judges will select several finalists to compete before a jury and live public audience at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 24, 2007 at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts, 19805 W. Capitol Drive in Brookfield.

Winners are announced following the performance and receive a Harold A. Levin Scholarship, made possible by a bequest to the Civic Music Association from the late Harold A Levin, a retired Milwaukee Public Schools elementary teacher.

Music Competition Weekend
On January 26-27, 2008, the Civic Music Association of Milwaukee will host another exciting weekend of awards and scholarships for elementary, middle, and high school students.

All events take place at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, 1584 North Prospect Avenue, Milwaukee.

Saturday's workshops are free for all auditioning students, with a $5.00 pre-registration and $10 walk-in fee for non-applicants. Admission to Sunday's recital is also free for all applicants, and tickets may be purchased at the door for a $5.00 admission fee for the public.

Winners of the Anello, Beihoff, Boyce, and Mohr scholarships will be announced after the High School Showcase Recital, followed by a reception.
