AUDITION VIDEOS DUE: March 27, 2021
FINAL RECITALS for 2020-21 students: May 12 and 13, 2021
Scholarships:
Scholarships provide private lessons with a professional musician or music educator to selected music students who have not yet had the opportunity for private study, live in the 5 county greater
Milwaukee area, and whose family is in need of a financial helping hand.
On Audition Day, students participate in a workshop on Audition and
Performance Preparation and enjoy a performance by winners of the High
School Competition.
Students must be recommended by a teacher. Music teachers with students
whom they think meets this criterion are encouraged to make this application
available to those students.
As a culminating experience to the year of lessons, students perform on a
year-end recital showcasing each participant in a solo performance for a live audience.

Audition and Interview:
Because of the continued COVID-19 pandemic, we will be accepting applications and video auditions from which we will make our enrollment decisions. We are confident that next season will look different and we will be able to resume our usual schedule.
When we are able to meet in-person next season, students will be assigned to either a morning (9:00AM-Noon) or afternoon (1:00-4:00PM) session and must attend with their parent/guardian. The day's schedule will include:
-
Program Orientation
-
Audition and Recital Preparation Workshop
-
Recital Performance by one or more of our High School Showcase Recital winners
-
Audition/Interview (5 minutes) before a panel of two music educators
Year 2 and 3:
The opportunity for advancement to Year 2 and Year 3 lessons is available only to Year 1 students who earn their private teacher’s recommendation. Teachers will be asked for their recommendations in February.
