This is a well-regarded Milwaukee competition for accomplished high school musicians who compete for the opportunity to perform on the Showcase Recital and to be one of four musicians to receive a total of $1,500 in Young Artist Scholarships.

FOR JAZZ INSTRUMENTALISTS and VOCALISTS
The Woody Herman | Sister Fabian Scholarship is open to high school senior jazz musicians in the Greater Milwaukee area who plan to pursue a career in music or music education after graduation. This scholarship is meant to fulfill Woody’s desire to recognize and assist local student jazz musicians.

FOR VOCAL and INSTRUMENTAL LESSONS
Scholarships provide private lessons to selected music students who are new to private study (less than 25 hours), live in the 5 county greater Milwaukee area, and whose family is in need of a financial helping hand.
