Please mark your calendars today! All students receiving lessons this 2026-27 season are expected to perform in one of these three recitals. You will be asked a few months before which time fits best into your schedule. If at that time you have been recommended by your private teacher to apply for an additional year scholarship, your recital performance serves as your audition.

For students in the current 2026-27 season:
YEAR 2 & 3 TEACHER RECOMMENDATIONS
DEADLINE: March 19, 2027
Use the blue button below to find the recommendation form for your student(s). Please remember that only your recommendation triggers our invitation to them to apply. Please get your completed form(s) in by the deadline. We are making the deadline tight in order to provide them enough time to receive and complete their application.

The students learn so much when they perform with an accompanist. You can help that happen by organizing an accompanist for your students. If you have an accompanist who will be performing with your student(s) and they are willing to play for more students, please email us that information. Likewise, if you are a pianist willing to accompany at one or more of the recitals.
We will be communicating with the families on March 5 about which recital they would like to be on. Please note that there are three recitals on May 8. We urge you to begin a conversation with students and parents today about getting this date on the calendars of our families! Saturdays in the spring can get filled with numerous other activities an we want to make sure that this date is already on their calendar.
