Anna Lena Derocher, violin, hails from Shorewood and is a sophomore attending Shorewood High School. Anna Lena studies violin with Pamela Simmons and her collaborative pianist on the Showcase Recital will be Stefanie Jacob.

​

Ruth Flunker will have a big day at this season’s Showcase! Ruth hails from Menomonee Falls and is a homeschooled senior. She studies euphonium with Bryce Bowlin and will be performing on the Showcase Recital with collaborative pianist Juanita Becker. Ruth is also the recipient of CIVIC MUSIC’s first presentation of the Woody Herman | Sister Fabian Scholarship. Ruth studies trombone with Kyle Samuelson and will switch to that instrument for her performance with collaborative pianist Joseph Hauer.

 

Johana Kim, flute, hails from Mequon and is a sophomore attending Homestead High School. Johana studies flute with Sanda Măsić and her collaborative pianist on the Showcase Recital will be Elizabeth Green.

  

Henry Snavely, violin, hails from New Berlin and is a homeschooled senior. Henry studies violin with Pamela Simmons and his collaborative pianist on the Showcase Recital will be Stefanie Jacob.

 

Salvador Stein, violin, hails from Menomonee Falls and is a junior attending ICL Academy. Salvador studies violin with Almita Vamos and his collaborative pianist on the Showcase Recital will be Stefanie Jacob.

 

Caleb Van Gelderen, cello, hails from Menomonee Falls and is a junior attending Falls Baptist Academy. Caleb studies cello with Adrien Zitoun and his collaborative pianist on the Showcase Recital will be Joseph Hauer.

Virginia Ericson, soprano, hails from Mequon and is a junior attending Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School. Virginia studies voice with Jennifer O'Connor and her collaborative pianist on the Showcase Recital will be Joseph Hauer.

 

Amiracle Evans, soprano, hails from Milwaukee and is a senior attending Milwaukee High School of the Arts. Amiracle studies voice with Raymond Roberts who will also be her collaborative pianist on the Showcase Recital.

 

Helen Knox, mezzo-soprano, hails from Shorewood and is a senior attending Brookfield Academy. Helen studies voice with Roberta Ricci and her collaborative pianist on the Showcase Recital will be Kai-i Tien.

 

Melody Marks, soprano, hails from Milwaukee and is a junior attending Milwaukee High School of the Arts. Melody studies voice with Raymond Roberts, who will also be her collaborative pianist on the Showcase Recital.
