CIVIC MUSIC MKE is proud to be one of over 40 Milwaukee-area nonprofits leading a coordinated effort to emphasize the importance of supporting our communities through a campaign called Giving First on Tuesday, November 23.

The Giving First date flips the script by coming one week before Giving Tuesday, a day of giving for many non-profits that traditionally falls after Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber-Monday shopping. Local nonprofits put the community first all year long and hope the community will put them first this giving season.

Giving First was successfully piloted by the Urban Ecology Center (UEC) in 2020. When other organizations asked to borrow the idea, a coordinated effort was born.

Check out the complete list of participating MKE organizations.

Music lifts us up, brings us joy and brings us together.
We invite you to give first to CIVIC MUSIC MKE
on November 23.  Thank you!

Bring the joy of music to young people in the Greater Milwaukee area when you support private lessons for children from low-to-middle income families. Encourage excellence through the High School Competition. Honor inspiring educators and citizens making music possible in our community.
